Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Client Service Associate

Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid Remote)

Hours: 9:00am

  • 5:30pm

Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

A global commercial insurance agency is seeking a Japanese bilingual Client Service Associate. This position will assist Account Managers with all service work, including endorsement activity, routine coverage questions, problem-solving, renewal control, preparation of formal proposals, and checking and booking policies. The ideal candidate will have business-level Japanese proficiency and possess excellent customer service and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

Handle customer service for policy change requests and distribution of certificates of insurance.

Prepare Broker of Record Letters as needed.

Check insurance documents for errors.

Set up audit and policy files, as well as renewal files/folders.

Request necessary information from insurance companies.

Manage the intake and distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail.

Provide assistance to Managers and Marketing Executives as necessary for new accounts.

Ensure accurate billing of premiums associated with requested policy transactions.

Report irregular issues and problems to supervisor for resolution.

Qualifications:

Japanese Bilingual

  • Full Professional Level Required

Excellent Customer Service Skills

Strong MS Office Skills

Excellent Mathematical and Analytical Skills

Willing to Obtain Property and Casualty Insurance License with Company Support
