3900: Janitorial Maintenance

Our operations are in compliance with all CDC recommended guidelines including: enhanced cleaning and sanitation practices, following social distancing protocols and providing our team members with gloves and masks to keep themselves and our guests safe.

POSITION SNAPSHOT: The maintenance position is vital to the overall cleanliness and first impression of the Guests. Our maintenance staff is responsible for cleaning, repairing, and maintaining the interior and exterior of our building.

NITTY GRITTY DETAILS:

  • Delivers an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun.

  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.

  • Safely and correctly operates all equipment.

  • Uses all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control.

  • Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

  • Controls costs by not overstocking or disposing of unused materials.

  • Clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls and drains.

  • Responsible for maintenance storage areas, cleanliness and stocking.

  • Cleans and maintains all windows, lamps, mirrors and light fixtures.

  • Cleans and maintains wood floors and walls, tile and carpets.

  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all restroom areas, including restocking of supplies.

  • Dusts all wood and fixtures.

  • Polish all brass plates, rails and hardware.

  • Cleans and maintains all ceiling fans, air intakes and HVAC air vents.

  • Cleans and maintains all mats.

  • Empties trash and cleans and maintains trash cans.

  • Cleans and maintains back dock area.

  • Assists other Team Members as needed or when business needs dictate.

  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company Team Members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum Team Member morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.

  • Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights, and/or weekends as required.

  • Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred, but not required.

  • Must demonstrate ability to early communicate with Guests and other Team Members.

  • Must be disciplined and self-motivated.

  • Is dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean and professional at all times.

VIEW JOBS 12/25/2021 12:00:00 AM 2022-03-25T00:00 $15/Hour Full Time Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Valid DL Required Janitorial/Light Maintenance POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for cleaning projects requiring advanced training and demonstrated skill as well as all mechanical systems and equipment are operational and properly maintained. Inspects work performed in assigned building/property(s) and submits reports to the Supervisor. Positions may be indoors to maintain the interior of the community, outdoors to maintain the exterior, or a mixture of both. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning. * Informs Supervisor of needed supplies. * Maintains all cleaning solutions in accordance to OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals. * Removes trash from premises and assists in emergency cleaning. * Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment. * Maintains friendly and professional attitude. * Responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas. * Inspects all assigned areas daily and reports all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to Supervisor. * Ensures that security procedures are adhered to at all times. * Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work. * Maintains working relationship with building staff. * Furnishes and burnishes floors as required. * Completes daily work orders as scheduled. * Responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas. * Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition. * As applicable, cleans restrooms: Sweeps and mops floors. Refills all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap. Cleans toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters. Empties/removes trash. Reports any discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor. * Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment. * Routinely walks floors including roof checking for problems and lights out and reports back to supervisors. * Painting of all common areas and touch up may be required. Responsible to inspect areas that need paint and advise manager. * Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment. * Performs maintenance replacement and repair in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs as long as a permit is not required to conduct the job. * Must be able to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment. OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Education/Training: * High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Experience/Knowledge/Abilities: * Previous custodial experience preferred. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. Special Requirements * Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures; * Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time; * Crawl in small and tight spaces; Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain); * Walk and climb stairs; Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment; * Reach with hands and arms; * Ability quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions; * Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers; * Complete all required forms. * Ability to respond to emergencies on a timely manner. * Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3 ft).
