Position Summary:
PADNOS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The Janitor plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout our facility. The primary responsibility will be to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring all surfaces are free from dust, dirt, and debris.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms: Sanitize toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Clean tables, countertops, microwaves.
Empty trash bins: Collect and dispose of waste materials, ensuring proper segregation and adherence to recycling guidelines.
Dust and wipe surfaces: Clean desks, tables, chairs, shelves, and other furniture to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
Maintain cleanliness in common areas: Clean and organize break rooms, conference rooms, and other shared spaces.
Handle spills and accidents: Promptly address any spills, leaks, or accidents to prevent slips, falls, or other hazards.
Restock cleaning supplies: Monitor inventory levels and ensure an adequate supply of cleaning products, toiletries, and other necessary items.
Perform maintenance tasks: Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel, such as broken fixtures or faulty equipment.
Follow safety protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, using personal protective equipment, and maintaining a hazard-free environment.
Collaborate with team members: Coordinate with other janitorial staff to divide tasks efficiently and ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly.
Maintain records: Keep track of cleaning schedules, inventory, and maintenance requests for documentation purposes.
Uphold professional standards: Demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and professionalism while interacting with colleagues and visitors.

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols
Understanding of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
