ABOUT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
The Property Management team is responsible for operating and maintaining our beautiful communities, but beyond that, they are relationship builders and the heart and soul of MidPen. Rooted in our ICARE values (Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence), and our Guiding Principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, Property Management works closely with our residents, our community partners, and their fellow MidPenners, including close collaboration with our Resident Services team.

PAY RANGE
$17.14 - $21.43 Hourly
POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the supervision of the Community Manager, the Janitor is responsible for the upkeep of the project grounds and supports the maintenance supervisor.
Work schedule: Full-time, Monday
Friday 6:00am
2:30pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Picks up refuse daily
Sweeps sidewalks and parking lots as needed
Prepares vacated units for re-occupancy
Sweeps and cleans laundry room
Cleans common area restrooms
Vacuums hallway/project office carpet
Participates in preventative maintenance programs
Complies with company safety policies and procedures
Weeds the lawn as directed by maintenance supervisor
Performs other duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and Experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of chemical safety and necessary precautions
Must possess a valid California Drivers License, auto insurance and reliable transportation
Commitment to the Mission and Values of MidPen Services and MidPen Housing
Physical Requirements
This position is considered moderately to highly physical and requires a lot of standing, bending, lifting and walking
Able to stoop, kneel, carry, push and pull, ascend/descend stairs, climb on ladders, climb on roofs, and crawl in confined spaces on a regular basis
The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Working Conditions
Works in all types of weather inside and outside
Respond to emergency calls at night or on weekends
Wears protective safety equipment and clothing as needed
