Janitor/ Floor Care Specialist

Apple Valley Village Health Care Center, part of a 4-star senior living community, is hiring a Part-Time Janitor/ Floor Care Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning carpet areas of resident rooms and common areas, along with some basic janitorial work.

This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position working 4 days per pay period including every other weekend. Shift: Evening

What does a Janitor/ Floor Care Specialist do?

• Clean carpet of resident rooms and common areas.

• Take out trash and recycling.

• Complete basic cleaning/ maintenance.

• Replace light bulbs in building fixtures.

• Perform additional tasks as needed.

What does a Janitor/ Floor Care Specialist require?

• Previous carpet cleaning experience preferred, but not required.

• Must be able to run carpet extractor and drive tractor.

• Ability to use basic tools.

• Must have patience and understanding to work with a diverse population of residents.
