Janitor - 3Rd Shift

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Janitor to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Goodyear, AZ on Third Shift.

As a Janitor, this candidate will be responsible for focusing on food safety and sanitation both inside and outside of the plant grounds. The Janitor will assist in ensuring the plant environment meets food safety cleanliness objectives and operates according to the established standards. This position works Monday - Friday from 11:00PM - 7:00AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment.

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.

• Clean windows, doors and mirrors.

• Clean, sanitize and supply restrooms.

• Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.

• Sanitize and disinfect break room and restrooms with atomizer.

• Remove waste and empty trash.

• Replenish cleaning supplies.

• Organize janitorial areas.

• Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance.

• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and cleaning equipment in order to prevent damage or injury.

• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to the specifications.

• Ability to manage your time efficiently.

• Integrity and ability to work independently,

• Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets.

• Ability to comprehend and follow standard work instructions and standard operating procedures.

• Visually inspecting, observing, and cleaning wastewater area. Reporting any issues to maintenance.

Requirements:

• Requires basic reading and math skills.

• Requires the ability to communicate effectively.

• Requires the ability to respond to changes positively and quickly and pay close attention to detail.
