Bastian Automated Vehicle (BAV) Inventory and Project Specialist really looks to oversee several aspects of the day-to-day functions in the office. Inventory Specialist will be a jack-of-all-trades in helping with keeping up with inventory, running the daily functions of the office, while also helping with projects as well when needed. An individual can grow into project-based work if they have a technical side to them.

General Duties:

  • Manage US Sourced inventory and fulfill service part orders to national accounts and Toyota dealers for all Toyota AGV's

  • Accurately forecast on hand service part inventory levels in order to meet customer needs in a timely fashion.

  • Responsible for opening and closing BAV office on a daily basis.

  • Accept and sign for all deliveries.

  • Unload deliveries while safely operating a forklift and properly store them in the warehouse.

  • Coordinate order shipments by picking/packing, as well as preparation and filing of commercial paperwork for national and international customers.

  • Develop master schedules and coordinate product up fitting, including component part delivery to third party manufacturer.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining accurate Bill of Materials for all system installations.

  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project deadlines are met and customer satisfaction is maintained at a high level.

  • Project Manager for all non-system AGV sales from inception to completion.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Associates Degree minimum

  • Forklift certification or willing to train and become certified

  • Experience in placing inventory order and managing vendors


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Inventory experience a plus

  • Positive outlook and influence on the other employees - Team player
