The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for an ITSM Process Engineer at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.
ITSM Process Engineering Lead in support of the Air Force National Capitol Region (AFNCR) IT Services program. The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas are: IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering (PP&E). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment. The successful candidate will provide expertise in standards and validations and use a wide range of improvement tools and methodologies to make recommendations for metrics, KPIs, and CSFs in meeting SLAs and Performance Thresholds.
Drive data driven analysis of business processes and help implement improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Champion awareness training and implementation of business processes.
Drive process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to process modernization projects.
Provide effective transition of existing project teams and the facilitation of project teams in the accomplishment of project activities and objectives.
Provide group facilitation, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer.
Act as a key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of engineering efforts.
Provide daily supervision and direction to business process engineering team members or high-level consulting input to customers as required.
Provide comprehensive services that result in advanced delivery of services for the AFNCR program.
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of related experience, certification, and/or training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
In-depth knowledge and experience of ITSM Remedy (full-suite), ServiceNow, or equivalent, with ability to define the client's strategic business/IT goals and
interpret those goals into a repeatable process.
Expertise in business process architecture, engineering and design techniques.
Experience in adapting functional business requirements and processes to technical solutions based on comprehensive enterprise solutions.
Currently possess a DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
Organizational Change Management experience.
ITSM/ITIL related certifications.
Capability for effective oral and written communication.
Ability to help drive decision making processes across the organization.
Experience working at the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), and/or Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB).
