The ITSM Patch Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing WellMed application software versions, updates, patches, and security vulnerabilities and will provide guidance on the priority and roadmap for updating the current application software environment for end - user computing devices. The Patch Coordinator will also serve as a resource for WellMed Business Application and Support groups, the Patch Coordinator will also review business application software and be available to help coordinate the work to ensure that versions, patches, and security vulnerabilities are addressed within corporate requirements.

The ITSM Patch Management Coordinator will also serve as a member of the Major Incident Management Team, providing Major Incident Management Team coverage as scheduled.

Designs ITSM work flows as directed, creating efficiencies and delivery standards for all IT Service Management stakeholders.Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate with cross functional teams that contribute to the definition of the processes, standards, and methodologies, as well as their adoption and governance

  • Monitor and report on adherence to defined application software versioning, patch update, and security vulnerability remediation requirements

  • Monitor and report on End of Life for both application / software, and end - user computing hardware

  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure application software versions, updates, and security remediation vulnerability processes are understood, adhered to, and improved

  • Participate in the Major Incident Management process and manages Major Incidents when scheduled

  • Demonstrate good judgment and logic in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

  • Interact with senior internal and external personnel

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

  • 6 months of experience within an IT organization in a support or project management role

  • 6 months of experience working within Incident Management and Service Request Management

  • Experience working on IT projects

  • ITL experience and / or familiarity

  • Demonstrated experience and skillset with Microsoft Excel (ability to create, navigate and edit spreadsheets)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience creating, analyzing, and publishing IT metrics

  • Experience working in Project Management

  • Demonstrated experience working with SCCM and / or SNOW

  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to explain Data and Business Analyst tools and techniques

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with toolsets such as Power BI and Tableau

  • Experience briefing management on analytics / reporting, project status, and ability to speak in a manner to relay understanding to a non - technical audience, as well as the ability to explain reporting variances and methodology behind the analytics and reporting
