Description:

The individual in this role will be part of our Tier 3 support and project implementation team serving both internal and external clients. Refresh or establish policies and procedures to align with strategic objectives and quality KPI's and ensure they are met. See Required Skills for details.

MSP Tools, Systems, and Network Support:

Provide support and ongoing development for internal MSP toolsets. Provide for ongoing management of service provider hardware and software infrastructure. Ensure SLAs are met and establish key metrics and KPIs, both customer-facing and internal. Translate performance data into actionable business and technical process Improvements.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Advanced knowledge of WAN/LAN networking including routing, switching, security, load balancing.

• Mastery of Microsoft Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Apple Ecosystem (iOS, MacOS) and Google Chrome OS design, development, maintenance techniques, and processes.

• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such, Office 365, Azure, AWS required.

• Strong experience with server platforms from HPE and Dell using VMWare, Windows, and Linux required.

• Strong experience with MSP platforms

• Ability to use scripting for automation tasks a strong plus, ideally with PowerShell.

• Working knowledge of Datacenter environments.

• Strong experience with Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity.

QUALIFICATIONS WE SEEK

• 8+ years of overall experience in IT engineering roles with a minimum 2 years In top level engineering role required.

• Experience with public cloud technologies. Capable of technical deep-dives into application requirements, networking, operating systems and server infrastructure.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. Ability to clearly articulate technical problems in terms of data and symptoms, causes and effects, and potential remedies.

• Self-motivated, self-directed with excellent time management skills and ability to handle and adapt to changing priorities and special projects in a high growth environment.
