This IT Vendor Management Analyst position includes vendor relationship management, helping with sourcing and vendor selection, contract reviews, cost optimization, risk mitigation, vendor on-boarding and on-going vendor monitoring responsibilities.

This role reports to the IT Vendor Management Lead while relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Vendor Management Analyst will work with business partners to support purchasing, strategic needs, analysis, and governance processes.


Essential Function and Responsibilities:
  • On-boarding of new vendors;

  • Perform pre-contract support, including vendor pre-qualification research, RFX content development;

  • Drive utilization of contract templates and minimize deviations;

  • Identify and drive contracting process improvements (i.e., propose modifications to company templates, regularly solicit input from business partners to discuss contracting improvements);

  • Support the resolution of contractual and interpretive differences between vendors and business units;

  • Service Level management;

  • Contract drafting, review/redlining;

  • Tool administration for IT Vendor Management (currently SharePoint);

  • On-going vendor assessments;

  • Monitor vendor risk;

  • Create project deliverables and reports for Vendor Management initiatives;

  • Coordinate vendor performance reviews;

  • Business & department process improvement, IT controls, lean implementation;

  • Performs ongoing due diligence analytics for third-party service providers including financial reviews, compliance reviews, vendor management policies, audit reports, and risk/SOC reviews;

  • Develop goals and metrics for measuring and managing supplier performance;

  • Maintain and update knowledge on all IT and Supply Chain processes and policies; and

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or 4+ years in; vendor management, contract management, audit or other related risk management functions preferably in IT;

  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge including MS Word, Excel, PPT;

  • 1-year experience analyzing and communicating performance metrics and results;

  • Familiar with a variety of Vendor Management concepts, practices, and procedures;

  • Strong business acumen across multiple practice; e.g. IT hardware/Asset Management, Vendor Management, Financial Management, Contracts Management and Operational Risk Management;

  • Ability to read, create, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents;

  • Self-motivated/directed person who can embrace role and drive change;

  • Comfortable interacting with multiple teams and leaders on a regular basis;

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of an organization (verbal and written);

  • High degree of comfort with business and technology language; and

  • Ownership mentality with a deep sense of accountability over results.

  • Experience with SAP procurement and financial functions, Ariba, SharePoint, Vendor Management software;

  • IT contract interpretation with related supplier negotiation expertise;

  • Experience with program and project management, business delivery, or relationship management;

  • Agile delivery & Six Sigma principles; and

  • Management of IT vendors or projects.

Hours and Travel

Meet travel requirements of the position. Work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.
