Seeking organized, passionate and creative customer programs manager with well developed communication skills, marketing background and high tech industry experience to fill a strategic role on the Corporate Reference Team. This role will be responsible for developing, managing and executing the strategy and Plan of Record for DELL Technologies' IT Transformation Reference Program. This is a highly visible role that requires a self-starter and a creative intellect with the ability to think strategically, yet act tactically in order to drive long-term success as well as oversee day-to-day operations.
Knowledge of enterprise IT industry trends, DELL Technologies business and marketing messaging are ideal for this position focusing on strategic IT Transformation customer references to support key marketing campaigns, PR, Thought Leadership and Brand initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities:
Recruit and develop new portfolio of strategic IT Transformation accounts, global brands and executive-level customer references during reference processes
Developing strong relationships with customers, partners, sales teams and marketing to identify program goals and execute on Customer Reference activities.
Leadership of regular stakeholder meetings with Global Solutions Marketing and Campaign Marketing to track progress against Customer Reference Program plan. Provide communicated updates on program status, readiness, and business issues and risks to management, including senior management involved in the cross-functional IT Transformation initiatives.
Working with Public Relations and Analyst Relations to identify and create key customer reference stories that could be used publicly to promote DELL Technologies IT Transformation leadership.
Fulfill reference requests that cannot or should not be fulfilled with self-service tool
Ensure customers' needs are met during the reference process
Support refinement and scaling of reference recruitment, reference nurturing and reference fulfillment process
Planning and directing the creation, editing, tracking, promotion and impact measurement of core reference assets (i.e. videos, case studies, infographics, eStories, interactive PDFs)
Facilitate live customer networking events
Skills & Experience
3+ years of Reference Management and marketing experience or Public Relations experience.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or equivalent. Master's a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Portfolio or examples of reference assets and other marketing collateral required.
A creative thinker who can bring new and fresh ideas to reference management and marketing collateral a plus.
Ability to works very well in a highly collaborative, dynamic and matrix environment.
Enjoys both developing strategy and implementing ideas. Results driven.
Possesses a positive attitude, flexibility, and big-picture perspective.
Have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with an aptitude to be technically conversant and understand industry, company, and customer direction.
Be able to create a detail-oriented plan for achieving specified results, with a regular cadence of reporting progress towards goals.
Have experience in managing a budget and allocating resources as necessary or collaborating with other marketing teams to ensure program deliverables are met.
Able to resolve problems under pressure without conflict, as well as anticipate change and redirect efforts as necessary.
