About the team

FIS' Managed IT services provide flexibility to financial institutions as their needs vary and evolve. In this position you will be directly responsible for a single client, working onsite in North Scottsdale supporting executives.

What you will be doing

As a Senior IT Technician, you will be responsible for delivering technical support over the phone and in person, responding to tickets and assisting with planned updates. You will support and administer PCs, peripherals, Active Directory and Windows systems.

  • Provides desk-side assistance in resolving technology support issues.

  • Performs installations, repairs, upgrades, backups and other maintenance tasks.

  • May maintain a tracking system for usage evaluation.

  • Maintains an inventory of all equipment, hardware, software and supplies.

  • Troubleshoots, maintains, and monitors, external and internal hard drives, printers, plotters and scanners.

  • Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment.

  • Assists in the installation, implementation, and upgrades of internal systems.

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience providing end-user desktop support

  • Skill in troubleshooting and using diagnostic tools for client accessibility problems to applications and network (e.g., resetting password, bouncing PU, resetting remote devices

  • Knowledge of basic problem resolution and escalation practices

  • Experience with executive level communication, professional presentation and listening skills
