IT Technical Services Assistant

Job Summary:

• Assist the Technology Support Group with maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of computer hardware, software, peripherals, and infrastructure. Includes support for faculty, staff, and labs.

Job Duties:

• Image and prepare new computers for deployment

• Work with faculty and staff to coordinate computer replacement

• Keep track of inventory and maintain organized work space

• Work with IT Tech Specialists, following set guidelines for work projects

• Assist Infrastructure team on various projects

Required Qualifications:

• Applicants must be current CSS student

• Strong knowledge of computers and interest in learning more.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions, communicate effectively, and to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to move/lift/install hardware.

• Availability to work during the summer.

• Preference given to students that qualify for federal student employment

Special Instructions to Applicants:

• Must be a current or incoming CSS student.

• Preference is given to students that qualify for federal student employment.

• Weekly hours: 20-40 hours during the summer; hours are during the M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No evenings or weekends.
