What you will do:

  • Help maintain code quality, organization and automation.

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application.

  • Hands-on development and implementation of Business Process Management.

  • Help write and optimize in -application SQL Statements.

  • Identify bottlenecks and defects, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.

  • Deliver high quality solutions by adhering to software design, development, and testing best practices.

  • Work with different Vendors and offshore teams.

  • Analyzing, capturing and communicating customer requirements.

  • Create necessary technical documents including design specification document.

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.


Skills and Education of Our Team:

  • 8+ years of experience developing software applications using Microsoft technology stack.

  • 5+ year of experience with PL/SQL and T-SQL.

  • Experience in Business Process Management.

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field is required.

  • AWS developer/architect certification is preferred.

  • Microsoft developer/architect certification is preferred.

  • Experience in the Healthcare industry is preferred.

Knowledge and Experience needed:

  • Experience working with a distributed development team.

  • Proficient in C# 7.0+ with Microsoft .Net 4.5+, ASP.Net MVC 4.0+ and Web API 2.0 technologies.

  • Experience with web tools/technologies such as HTML 5.0, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, JSON and one or more of the client-side frameworks such as Angular or React.

  • Experience developing cloud-first software applications/platforms Amazon Web Services (AWS) or MS Azure.

  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests using tools such as MSTest, nUnit etc.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) & Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

  • Experience with Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and preferably MS SQL.

  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Gitlab, TFS etc.

  • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such JIRA.

  • Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.

  • Skill for writing reusable libraries.

  • Knowledge of concurrency patterns.

  • Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.

  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application.

  • Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good interpersonal communication skills with ability to work with other members in a team

The work you will be doing is to architect, design and develop application supporting Wholesale and LTE in Rural America customers. You will be responsible for leading large and complex business initiatives based on contractual agreements for Wholesale and delivering best in class customer experience. Leading multiple projects using on-site and off-shore resources to maintain and develop applications for both enterprise releases and smaller maintenance releases. * Evaluate and recommend technology stack. * Design systems & applications that deliver business functions or architectural components. * Performance tuning of mission critical applications. * Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture. As a Senior Member of the Technical Staff you'll analyze architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs, guide others to assess system usage trends and identify potential performance constraints with intersystem designs. * Use complex algorithms to develop systems & applications that deliver business functions or architectural components. * Develop system architecture that improve designs & mapping form to function. * Educate team members about integrating systems collaboratively & efficiently. * Homogenize the performance of the database and optimize system resources. * Test business processes/products across applications with an end-to-end process flow. * Write scripts to develop programs that improve processing of access requests. * Reduce security threats with dependable & reliable security tools & software applications. * Evaluate how security impacts the design & development process of reliable networks. * Understand a given solution to assess its alignment with business needs. * Assess how the competition differs from Verizon's current state and update Verizon operations. * Communicate the business value of technical solutions. * Discover mutually beneficial solutions across customers while recognizing different styles. * Manage onsite technical escalations of developers regarding code merge, promotions, escalations for lack of inputs from other teams and resolve technical challenges with innovative solutions. What we're looking for... You'll need to have: * Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. * Six or more years of relevant work experience. * Experience developing and optimizing server architectures.
