Summary:

Responsibilities will primarily focus on device endpoint management solutions and supporting technologies/tools. The person will be providing systems expertise and guidance in the design and support of production, test, and development of one or more systems, which may include End User Computing, Imprivata, iGel, Intune, SCCM, Citrix, and Horizon. Works with management and other technical experts to develop the long-term architectural strategy for Children's systems platform. Responsible for project planning, estimating, and management of small to medium size projects. Leads other team members in day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in the End User Compute team, this individual will be primarily responsible for our Imprivata, iGel, Intune, SCCM, Citrix, and Horizon environments, including engineering, administrating, and resolving issues related to those areas

  • Act as a SPOC and SME for all endpoint management issues and escalation

  • Takes a lead in our technical transformation from on-prem endpoint management to a cloud-based future

  • Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge to analyze, respond, and resolve issues, requests, and incidents in a timely manner

  • Engage and lead from a technical perspective, all relevant projects

  • Work with IT staff to determine specific needs and how to best implement technical solutions for on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure

  • Act as the senior point of escalation, technical advisor, and mentor for other systems engineering team members.

  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis

  • Participate in the design and configuration process of new systems & technology

  • Conduct after-hours maintenance and support as needed

  • Provide direction in the design and implementation of assigned application and/or operating systems environments, including providing support of designated processes. Identify architectural issues and propose alternative solutions to technical problems.

  • Produce detailed documentation of design components, i.e., technical designs, program design specifications, interim components, etc. Prepare and maintain documentation to support computer operations, related manual procedures, technical references and conduct user training.

  • Maintain and monitor assigned system/application environments including production, qa, and development systems. Install upgrades and patches to existing systems. Identify and implement performance-tuning enhancements as needed.

  • Communicate architecture concepts and direction to directors, managers, and analysts. Support the activities required to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Develop and communicate project/task estimates and project work plans. Manage tasks and projects to schedule and budget.

  • On-Call rotation

How You'll Be Successful:

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years' experience in administrating Citrix, and Horizon, and Windows devices Req

  • At least 3 years' experience in Intune, SCCM, Altiris, JAMF, and AirWatch application administration Req

  • At least 1-year personnel or project management experience Req

  • Experience in SCCM and Intune co-management

  • Experience in other technologies such as GPO, O365, SharePoint, Exchange

EDUCATION

  • Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Req

  • CCP-V, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, JAMF Pro

  • Roles supporting a specific software must demonstrate competency in the software used in their role. All training and testing applicable to the role must be successfully completed and passed within 180 days of employment. Continuing education requirements must be completed and maintained for applications applicable to the role.
