Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is seeking an IT Systems Integration Analyst. This person will be part of our IT team which currently supports 100+ onsite and offsite locations in 8 states. Responsibilities include integrating data between applications; implementing/supporting current and new applications; and working with the application team on troubleshooting and other projects. The IT Systems Integration Analyst will also provide IT support via our Help Desk system.

NOTE: The IT Systems Integration Analyst will commute (20% local travel) to multiple locations in the metro Chicago area and must be flexible with scheduling to accommodate weekend on-call rotation. This role is based out of the Chicago and Morton Grove offices.


  • 3-5 years of data integration experience

  • Experienced in using interface engines, web servers including Microsoft IIS and Apache Tomcat, open source technologies (Java or Mirth), and JavaScript/HTML

  • Expertise in REST APIs using multiple programming languages and platforms (i.e. JSON, PHP, Java, C/C++, Ruby, Python)

  • Ability to identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions

  • Experienced in using .net applications, soap web services, testing tools such as Soap UI, Jmeter and other automated testing frameworks

  • Flexible availability for on-call rotation shifts including weekends/evenings

Job Summary

Integrates data between applications, and implements and supports current and new applications.

Essential Functions

  • Integrate data between applications using various tools and methods including but not limited to interface engines, open source technologies such as Java or Mirth, web servers including Microsoft IIS and Apache Tomcat, JavaScript/HTML, etc.

  • Maintain expertise in Representational State Transfer application programming interfaces (REST APIs) using multiple programming languages and platforms including but not limited to JSON, PHP, Java, C/C++, Ruby, Python

  • Read, comprehend and implement standards such as HTTP, XML, FHIR, REST/RESTful, and Web Services including but not limited to SOAP web services and .net applications

  • Analyze data contained in the corporate database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions

  • Implement and resolve application functionality-related issues and provide first level of support and troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot technical issues using automated testing frameworks including but not limited to SoapUI and Apache Jmeter, and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements

  • Advise and assist in the selection, design, justification, implementation and use of systems

  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to information being processed, stored or accessed by the network

  • Available to perform duties outside standard business hours on occasion as needed, including evenings and weekends

  • Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and office equipment

  • Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction

  • Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment

  • Work in a confined, crowded space of variable light, noise and temperature levels

  • Ability to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurants and/or other LEYE facilities (which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces)

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist the application team with the following: troubleshooting software application issues, managing an outsource relationship for third party application development and programming consults, and coordinating application development for multiple projects

  • Resolve tickets in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service to restaurant management and corporate employees

  • Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment including MS Word and Excel

  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook

  • Get along well with others and act as a team player

  • Other duties assigned as needed
