IT Systems Engineer - Onsite - Boca Raton, FL
Summary:
The IT Engineer will be responsible for managing and providing direct hands-on support to all of our locations. The individual will manage and support network, security, and virtual server infrastructure using best-of-breed technologies. We are looking for an individual that shows a track record of being passionate about leading-edge technologies, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking.Skills:
- VMware vSphere 6/7/8 and Storage Area Networks (SANs), vSan
- Servers, HP Proliant (or equivalent)
- Windows Active Directory (2012+)
- Office 365 environment
- SQL Server (2012+) Administration
- Microsoft Azure
- Networking / Infrastructure
- Cisco / Dell Switches/ Juniper, Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto) and EndPoint Security Management
- Workstations: Windows 10 /11 PCs, Macintosh and Linux
- PowerShell Scripting
- App Insights, Stream Analytics and Machine Learning
- -AI applied to IT tasks
·Network Administration , Firewall Administration and Security
·Servers & Virtualization (VMWare, Windows and Linux) Administration
·Microsoft Active Directory / Office 365 Environment & Servers Administration
- Workstations (PCs / Mac) / Mobile Devices / Printers
- Manage and maintenance Wireless infrastructure and Mobile Devices (Apple & Android-based)
- Support and recommend networking improvements to ensure maximum protection to company IP assets and performance of the network.
- Management of Security Systems (Endpoint Security (AntiVirus, EDR) and Physical security systems (DVR, Access control, etc.)
- Disaster Recovery/Business Continuance Management
- Managing & maintaining networks, servers in a heterogeneous environment (5+ years)
- Microsoft SQL Server Administration (Backups, Monitoring, O/S Health)Education:
- Bachelor degree or above in Computer Engineering or related discipline preferred (but not required)Soft Skills:
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, detail-minded and result-oriented.
- Team player who values team success over individual recognition
- Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Excellent verbal & written skillsDay to Day tasks:
