Our IT department is looking for a Systems Analyst to play a key role in providing information and reporting from our core IT systems. If you hold a diverse set of skills ranging from authoring technical level requirements, to developing custom reporting and leading large data system integrations and conversations--we definitely want to talk to you!


As a Systems Analyst you'll be responsible for eliciting, analyzing and documenting system requirements and associated success measurements, and transplanting those requirements into technical specifications in a clear and concise manner. You'll have an in-depth knowledge of operational business processes, software applications used to support them, and data flows across the business process, as well as SQL skills needed to acquire and analyze information.


  • Lead the analysis and documentation of system requirements for new systems and enhancements.

  • Lead system migration and data integration projects.

  • Produce data, reports or dashboards.

  • Assess system issues; lead necessary identification and resolution activities.

  • Elicit requirements and success measurements utilizing a variety of techniques, such as data analysis, interviews, job shadowing, workshops, storyboarding, prototyping and research.

  • Evaluate needs, analyze processes, study and analyze data, review alternatives and determine appropriate solutions.

  • Create and maintain requirement/traceability documentation and technical specification documentation.

  • Create and maintain documentations including diagrams, use cases, activity charts, data flow diagrams and data dictionaries.

  • Identify and assist in resolving issues, questions and requirement gaps quickly and effectively.

  • Provide support to development team during solution development.

  • Utilize database scripting to perform advances queries and data manipulation on SQL databases.

  • Design, code and test custom reports and dashboards.

  • Troubleshoot data quality issues found in reports; communicate how process was updated or issues resolved.

  • Lead property system data conversions, document requirements, and oversee all aspects of data migration.

  • Measure and compile data on operational effectiveness and improvements introduced through technology or process improvements per success measurements.

  • Provide support to Quality Analysts during all stages of the testing lifecycle.

  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science; OR equivalent education and work experience

  • 3+ years experience in a systems analyst role

  • Knowledge of data structures (databases, files, spreadsheets), data analysis and data reporting tools, and MS Visio

  • Demonstrated experience in writing data queries using MS SQL

  • Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking, analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

In addition, responsibilities include process improvement and automation.
