Alkermes is seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst to assist in establishing processes, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining General & Administrative applications including Oracle EBS (Payables,Purchasing), Hyperion, and custom applications as well as being an active participant in projects that support business growth and efficiencies. The role is a member of a larger IT team covering all General and Administrative business applications.
The role is based in Waltham, MA and supports a global business.
ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Build and foster effective relationships between the business and IT.
Coordinate issue resolution with internal and external technical support providers.
Ensure appropriate IT processes, procedures, and standards are in place.
Participate on IT projects including testing and creating documentation
Functional experience with Oracle EBS Financial and/or Purchasing modules
Applies knowledge, experience and initiative to resolve problems
Strong analytical functional skills, including an ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
Self-starter with the ability to work on projects and tasks with minimal supervision
Ability to respond to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
