About the Role

Plans, designs, and implements complex networks. Provides assistance and technical support for network design activities through development of test, troubleshooting and operational procedures Responsible for the analysis, evaluation, implementation, and support of application hardware, software and systems.

Programs and resolves in-house technical problems. Creates, modifies and documents conceptual software programs in order to facilitate internal requests or support business plan goals.

Candidates MUST have automotive manufacturing experience

Experience must include high-volume production settings

Your Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day maintenance of all IT hardware and systems as directed; Act as a "helpdesk" to support plant and office "users" on a daily basis with problem resolution.

• IT on-boarding of new employees, set up and administration of network accounts following departmental procedures and security protocol

• Ensure systems reliability through redundancy, backups and security; Coordinate contractors for work/service required by external sources

Who we are looking for

• University degree/College Diploma in Computer Science, or related discipline with 3 years work-related experience in a similar position. Minimum 3 - 5 years experience. CMS experience is an asset.

• Experience working in both an office and automotive manufacturing environment

• Extensive hands on experience with the analysis, evaluation, implementation, and support of application hardware, software and security systems.

• Strong technical background with an emphasis on the administration of operating systems, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server and complex TCP/IP networks

• Experience implementing and supporting third-party applications including server, client and upgrades.

• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and with a variable workload.
