Jacobs is NASA's largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States. We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Systems Admin to join the team with JETS II Teammate Company, Nexus Solutions. The IT Systems Admin will:

Administrative knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server 2012,2016,2019. (Services, Group Policy, Registry, etc.). Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network management application, services and equipment. Hands-on experience with server upgrades, patch management, and server transitioning. Experience with SQL server.

Ability to keep hardware up and running. Interfacing with ServiceNow: Ticket System and hardware inventory.

Support Patching and Compliance to determine health and licensing of installed software. Provide interface to NASA IT to Implement Security Policy and Controls Including- Technical evaluations, analysis, and troubleshooting. Vulnerabilities monitoring and assessment.

Proactive Risk assessment and mitigation. Cryptographic Protection Ensure Compliance with NASA standards Produce required documentation and reports for management Support on-going Engineering IT needs Perform any other duties assigned by the Electrical, Data and Controls Section Manager Here's what you'll need: Requisition Qualifications:

Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a related area or experience in the field.

Proficiency in creating scripts or programs to automate tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Microsoft Office Applications.

Essential Functions Work Environment Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time). Equipment and Machines Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.). Attendance Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.

Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
