Boundless is looking for a motivated and capable IT Support Professional / ISSO who can manage our IT and security infrastructure. This job will involve setting up and running security plans, running our IT support help desk, managing physical hardware and software resources. There may also be a need to independently identify and solve technical issues relating to Information Assurance, system hardening, and ensuring system availability, integrity, and authentication
What we need you to do:
Manage physical hardware for employees of the organization. This may include ensuring software patches and updates are installed, and encrypting hardware.
Support hardware and device management
Manage the network security for physical offices
Run the IT support helpdesk, and ensure tickets are responded to in a timely fashion
Administer common business applications as Google Apps, Okta, Slack, Etc.
Research, diagnose and resolve complex computer system software and hardware issues as they arise
Provide security relevant documentation such as security CONOPS, Security Controls Traceability Matrix, System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, Contingency Plans, etc.
Perform and analyze weekly security audits for nonstandard events.
Implement backup solution and ensure a cohesive disaster recovery plan.
Skills needed to excel:
Ability to troubleshoot user issues
Experience dealing with vendors
Knowledge of the macOS, Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with Google Apps
Experience with Okta or any other SSO providers
Knowledge of AWS or any other cloud hosting providers
Experience with setup of new users and computers
Experience running an IT support desk
Experience working in or directly supporting of government entities desired.
Proven ability to deliver outstanding Customer Service
Attentive to details
Ability to design and implement process improvements across the function and organization
