The IT System Administrator III is part of a team responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of the University Identity and Web environments. Specifically, this position is instrumental in the ongoing management and development of the Enterprise University Identity Management system. The position will also be involved in the deployment, configuration management, and support of enterprise level web services serving the University, including the Shibboleth Web authentication and cPanel web hosting environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in operations analysis and design, systems programming, or closely related area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with system administration of WebLogic systems.

  • Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in multiple programming languages.

  • Experience with Git / GitHub (or equivalent remote repository solution).

  • Understanding of core networking and security principles.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
