I. BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

Work as a member of a Radar System Software development team to provide Information Assurance and Cyber-security Risk Mitigation plans and implementation with BAE Systems current Radar system architecture. Provide technical input for Network Infrastructure and Information Technology implementation for our Radar Systems, subsystems.

Candidate will develop risk mitigation plans and work with software engineers to guide software architecture to mitigate the risks defined in the Risk Mitigation plan. Candidate will provide input on Proposals where Information Assurance requirements are present.

II. PRIMARY DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Duties and responsibilities which occupy a major portion of time and importance in the job. Incumbent(s) perform one or more of the following duties.)
1.Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Lead on all programs where required. Requires developing Risk Mitigation Plans and working with Lead Software Engineers and System engineers to steer system architecture.
2.Implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) on IT equipment and working with Lead Software Engineers to determine items that cannot be implemented and developing reasons why not.
3.Provide technical input for Network Infrastructure and Information Technology implementation for our Radar Systems subsystems. This includes developing Network architecture, designing and implementing switch and router configurations, and designing, assisting in procuring and implementing IT infrastructure for Radar system and subsystem as required.
4.Assist in the preparation of proposals.
5.Develop Information Assurance Risk and Implementation plans.
6.Will work with Lead Software Engineer and System Engineer to ensure proper IA compliance on Programs as required.

Supervises no employees.

Assignments are clearly defined. Receives close supervision. Results are reviewed upon completion.

Exerts limited physical energy.

B. Working Conditions

May work extended hours or weekends. May travel overnight or on weekends.

Some input into budgetary process.

Work directly with customer during design reviews, system integration, acceptance testing and while conducting system maintenance and operational training. 2. May support various specialty-engineering tasks; such as Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) analysis, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) analysis or programs, project Safety Engineering tasks, and Training Development for moderately complex portions of the system. 3. May support site operations and sustainment activities at customer locations. 4. Produces and/or review moderate to complex technical documents, specifications and standards. 5. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. III. SUPERVISION: A. Responsibilities for Work of Others Directs work for other employees. B. Supervision Received Assignments defined by program management and customer requirements. Receives minimal supervision. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective, for desired results. IV.
