IT Support Technician - Sass

This position is a part of the Systems and Software Support (SaSS) team under Classroom Technology Services and will work closely with other SaSS full time staff to learn about managing enterprise systems and software.

This position is expected to work 25 to 29 hours a week as needed.

Duties will include providing computing support for faculty and staff, managing inventory of technology, and configuring windows and apple computer systems.

Hourly employee will gain competence in supporting and troubleshooting computing equipment, providing customer service and support for faculty and staff, supporting and configuring Windows and MacOS systems and experience working with AV equipment.

Employee will be introduced to technologies and procedures for the management of enterprise computing resources.

Required Qualifications

Must be a current WSU Student.

Exposure/experience with any of the following: Windows, MacOS, AV equipment, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

1 year of customer service experience

1 year of hands-on computer support experience

Knowledge of Windows and MacOS systems
