The Technology Support IT Technician II provides customer focused day-to-day technical support and administration for PC workstations and the Citrix environment including installation, optimization and troubleshooting of PC hardware and office automation applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Imaging/Hardware Builds: Team member will be responsible for imaging all new hardware that comes in from our vendors and resorts, assures machine is updated with the most recent drivers and ready for re-deployment.

  • Remote Tickets/Escalated Tickets: Team member will be responsible for checking there ticket queue for open requests, updating tickets on a daily basis and keeping the end user up to date on their request.

  • Deskside Support: Team member when needed will go to the user desk or conference room to support the end user.

  • Application Support: We support all applications that Holiday Inn Club Vacations uses, the team member will be responsible in keeping up to date on changes to better support the end user.

  • We travel to all the local resorts when needed, we also travel to our remote locations when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years' experience within the last 4 years in related I.T. position.

  • At least 3 years' experience within the last 4 years with setup, installation, upgrades, security, and administration of PC's and related network equipment.

  • Ability to effectively respond to questions from customers and provide timely resolutions to issues while effectively communicating status to management and customers.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft business products and operating systems.

  • Working knowledge with HP printers and other peripherals; and proficient with related setup and administration.

  • Ability of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Valid driver license.

  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Carries out any reasonable request by management of which the employee can perform.

  • This role requires up to 10% travel to the local resorts.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license, and minimum of 4 years of driving experience.

  • May not have any Type A violations in the last three (3) years (which include, but are not limited to, DWI, DUI, refusing a substance test, driving with an open container of alcohol, reckless driving, hit and run, fleeing a police officer, racing, driving while license is revoked or suspended, manslaughter or any felony).

  • May not have more than two (2) Type B moving violations in the last three (3) years; (includes most driving violations such as speeding, improper lane change, failure to yield or obey a traffic signal or sign, license suspension or at fault accidents.

  • May not have more than one at-fault accident within last three (3) years; and may not have one (1) Type B moving violation and one (1) at-fault accident within three (3) years.

Heres a list of some of the key responsibilities that accompany this job: Position Schedule - Sunday-Thursday 7am-3pm. ● Perform preventive maintenance and "health checks" on vehicles - everything from changing oil, oil filter, fuel filter, & transmission flushes, to inspecting vehicles for mechanical flaws. The car doctor is IN. ● Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic systems, generators, and electrical systems, hybrids, and on-board computer systems on specialized trucks. ● Depending upon your certification level, you may perform various repairs and maintenance that involve (you ready for this list?): OBD II systems, brake components, tires, tune-ups, suspension components, aerial lifts, electrical systems, state safety Inspections, interior/exterior components, engine and drive line components, and bumper stickers. (Okay, we made up the bumper sticker part.) ● You may be asked to repair and maintain shop equipment, because youre good like that. ● Youll be expected to know and follow all safety procedures. ● Youll need to create and maintain vehicle histories and maintenance records.
