What You Will Be Doing
Daily management of Service Desk queues and to ensure SLAs are met including opening, updating and closing Service Desk tickets
Performing the sysadmin function for the IT technology and tools that we use, including user administration, access control, file and data sharing; data entry into databases and management systems etc.
Ensuring cyber and information security is maintained according to our information security management system (ISMS)
Desktop, mobile device, software and application commissioning and decommissioning catering for starters, mover and leavers
Offering a friendly and approachable customer service to our representatives and clients always
Face to face, telephone and online technical support of software and hardware issues for our users and clients via Service Desk
Moving IT equipment
Working as part of a team and as an IT representative for business transformation projects
Working within a shift pattern to ensure working hours have good enough IT support services available
Writing, updating and improving user guides and technical specifications for the IT Knowledgebase
Looking at new technology and new ways of doing things that will bring benefit to the item and / or the business.
Expert trouble-shooter with the ability to quickly understand and fix technical issues and problems.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and its products
Advanced knowledge of access control and ACLs
Good customer service skills with the ability to diffuse a difficult situation
Good understanding of networking principles; TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, switching and routing
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory and SharePoint
Working knowledge of Apple MacOS
Working knowledge of LINUX (CentOS)
Working knowledge of Atlassian Jira and confluence
Working knowledge of Slack
Working knowledge of mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android
An understanding of ITIL
An understanding of information and cyber security
An understanding of firewalls and rule management
An understanding of backups, change and patch management principles
Ability to communicate at all levels and to explain technical issues, problems and solutions to non-technical people
Ability to take direction from senior management and follow our policies and procedures always
Ability to professionally and respectfully challenge the status quo and be looking for recommendations for business improvement
Good level of written and spoken English.
What You Need for this Position

Advanced to expert knowledge of any essential technology
Current certification in any of the essential technology
CCNA qualification or higher
ITIL foundation certified
Experience working with ISO20000, ISO27001 or Cyber Essentials
Working knowledge of PowerShell
A second language, preferably Hungarian
Team player with a can-do attitude
Ability to work unsocial hours
Ability to move and carry IT equipment
Willingness to travel to any of our sites at short notice
Having an open mind, supporting of change and new ideas
