As a key member of the IT Services group, the IT Support Technician provides daily support in the Denver office and remote support to the entire firm. The IT Support Technician provides user support and customer service on firm-wide supported applications and platforms. This is a non-exempt position and reports to the IT Supervisor and frequently works with other technical staff in peer and supporting roles.

This position requires to be in office Monday - Friday at our West LA Office 11766 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 900 Los Angeles, CA 90025

Job Responsibilities

  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically

  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues

  • Installs, configures, and troubleshoots Windows 10 laptops, network issues, mobile devices, and applications

  • Maintains passwords, data integrity, and file security for the desktop environment

  • Advise user on appropriate action

  • Follow standard service desk procedures

  • Strong documentation and communication skills

  • Redirect problems to appropriate resource

  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention

  • Track and route incidents, problems, and requests and document resolutions

  • Research questions using available information resources

  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science or MIS, or relevant field

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an IT Service Desk or Desktop Support role in a medium to large sized company

  • Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment

  • Demonstrated knowledge of setting up and supporting remote users

  • Ability to diagnose and provide root-cause analysis as well as post-mortem

  • Experience with Windows 10/11 & Office 365

Preferred Qualifications

  • MCP or A+ certification

  • Experience with Okta or other MFA

  • Expereince with Intune or CCH Applications

  • Expereince with ServiceNow ticketing tool

  • Basic Knowledge of Mac

  • Basic knowledge of SCCM
