IT Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are now reviewing applications for a potential position in our I.T. Department. We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong service-oriented mindset to join our team as an IT Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, a genuine passion for technology, and a proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, with a dedicated focus on providing exceptional service and support to internal staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to internal staff, including troubleshooting computer and software issues, monitoring and diagnosing hardware and software problems, and collaborating with the IT department team to resolve complex technical issues.

  • Maintain and configure systems and hardware, including updating, troubleshooting, and deploying computers, printers, phones, and other technical systems, managing basic Windows Servers and services, and supporting existing network infrastructures.

  • Manage and support software, including managing user accounts and access permissions, maintaining and updating various software applications, and communicating with third-party vendors for technical support and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure compliance with all company IT policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot computer and network issues effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and creatively.

  • Experience documenting technical procedures and solutions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
