IT Support Specialist will be responsible for Green Chef's IT needs and ensuring that users are enabled through technology and their needs are met in an expedient manner. Green Chef is building a world-class technology team and this role plays a crucial part in promoting and being a part of that vision as the main face of technology at Green Chef to our internal customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Be highly responsive to users needs and requests

  • Manage on-site information technology and computer systems.

  • Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.

  • Work with approved vendors used by the organization manages the relationships

  • Install, configure, and maintain both on-premise and cloud-hosted applications for business users.

  • Provide recommendations for upgrading company network software programs each time an update is released.

  • Manage user access and directory services.

  • Protect company information systems and confidential information, as well as employee privacy.

  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Work on and monitor projects, such as standards, procedures, and overall IT performance.

  • Coordinate priorities between the IT department and user departments.

  • Review the adequacy and allocation of IT resources in terms of funding, personnel, equipment, and service levels.

  • Maintain and determine the growth needs of the network, and make recommendations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent in work experience.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • IT support experience.

  • Solid experience with information security best practices.

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * You have at least one year of experience in customer-facing roles. * You have obtained a bachelor's degree, preferably in a related discipline. * Practical knowledge of the healthcare industry a definite plus. B. SKILLS REQUIRED: * You have an extraordinary, charismatic phone presence; excellent written communication and can relay information clearly, concisely and thoughtfully. * You are an entrusted problem-solver, a skilled prioritizer and take ownership in the work that you do. * You know your audience and have the ability effectively communicate resolutions with both non-technical and technical customers. * You have a natural ability to work through technical difficulties, determine the root issue, and provide resolution beyond the issue or question proposed. * You are able to take complex topics and make these easily digestible. C. ABILITIES REQUIRED: * You are clever, optimistic and ineffably empathetic. * You have an insatiable curiosity for learning how things work. * You have a working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and are familiar with tools including Salesforce and Microsoft Teams. A basic understanding of SQL is a bonus. * You are able to work a flexible schedule, providing coverage between 6 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
