Duties/Responsibilities

deliver patient, friendly, efficient user-centric IT support

prioritize, respond to, and manage support requests from submission to completion

troubleshoot hardware and software issues of low and medium complexity in a macOS & SaaS environment

prepare and update documentation to standardize IT processes

monitor and maintain compliance with backup, security, and os version standards

set up new computers and refresh computers for new users

research and evaluate new technology products and services

interface with software and hardware vendors to resolve issues

escalate issues as necessary

Requirements

Strong candidates will have:

excellent active listening skills

ability to communicate technical information without using jargon or oversimplification

1-3 years of direct customer service experience in a technical role

experience supporting SaaS tools such as Slack, Zoom, Box, Microsoft365, Adobe, Backblaze

experience configuring and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks

Exceptional candidates will have:

a recent ACSP certification (ACSP 10.13 or newer)

experience managing Apple devices using MDM

Wi-Fi network design and troubleshooting experience

ability to script in Ruby, Python, Bash, or Swift
