Provide local and remote IT helpdesk support to staff/users
Support the IT helpdesk operation
Provide timely support to members (local and remote)
Maintain the IT helpdesk functions
Provide outstanding service based member satisfaction and successful problem resolution
Local and remote troubleshooting of hardware, software and network connectivity problems
Support requisition process of new hardware/software/phones (including request for quotes, purchase order generation and order fulfillment)
Assist IT team members with implementation projects when required
Other tasks and duties as assigned
Understanding of MS Office 365 (O365) and MS Office Suite
Troubleshooting and problem resolution abilities related to O365, MS software, PC hardware, network devices and network connectivity issues
Excellent documentation and organization
Experience supporting multiple site manufacturing environment in a technical support or related role
Must be able to operate a PC, telephone and other office equipment
Must be able to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
Effectively communicate information to other I/S staff
Must perform job duties onsite, except those duties that are customarily or by their nature performed offsite (for example, offsite customer visits).
Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged
Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality
Must be able to operate as an effective team member
Must be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies
Must maintain a solid attendance record
Must be willing and available to work 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week, plus other hours per day or week if necessary or desirable to meet business needs
Must be willing and available to work such weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
Must be willing to be on call daily utilizing a smartphone with remote mail accessibility to support North America operations
Bachelor degree in Computer Science preferred but not required. Equivalent experience will be considered.
