Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at providing comprehensive hardware and software support. Responsibilities include resolving tickets promptly, configuring hardware, diagnosing network connectivity issues, and ensuring compliance with PCI regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT support, strong proficiency in remote desktop software, and a detailed understanding of Windows operating systems. If you have strong communication skills, a curiosity for problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, we want to hear from you! This position reports to the IT Support Manager in Clearlink's Salt Lake City, UT office, and will work onsite Monday
The Impact You Will Make
Comfortable supporting a wide range of hardware, including PC's, Mac's, peripherals and mobile devices
Ability to respond to and resolve tickets in a timely manner
Strong working knowledge of network environments, including an ability to recognize and diagnose connectivity problems ranging from the local to organizational outages
Ability to setup and configure hardware
Test and image desktop and laptops
Ensure the team is adhering to PCI regulations
Be on-call to respond to emergencies for technical, building, and safety concerns
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy on all duties and responsibilities
What You Bring
3+ years of experience in IT Support or related field
A+ Certification or 1-2 years of experience in IT/Desktop Support
Experience troubleshooting computer software and hardware remotely
Customer service or technical support experience (within a call center environment is a plus)
Detailed understanding of desktop hardware with ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
Thorough understanding of remote desktop software
Proven understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11
Understanding of basic network concepts, with proven ability to troubleshoot
Understanding of VOIP System, and proficiency to troubleshoot
Basic knowledge of Windows servers
Must be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to resolve all desktop or laptop issues that affect user productivity, and deliver training when applicable
Must be a self-starter & able to use own judgment, as well as take initiative with projects and activities with minimal direction
Must be able to work under and complete projects under a deadline
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work alone or in a team environment
