Position Summary:

The IT Support Specialist serves as front line and escalation point for IT Support, directly interfacing with employees across all levels of the organization. This individual will support end user systems, including PCs, mobile devices, printers/copiers, and telephones.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing first/second tier help desk support and desk-side support for corporate/home-office users and occasional remote users, including:

  • Technical support of end-users in-person and via telephone

  • Documentation, tracking, and resolution of all support incidents in a timely and efficient manner within a ticketing system or incident management system

  • Assist with IT on-boarding and off-boarding activities

  • Troubleshooting of advanced Client and Mobility application issues in networked (LAN/Cellular) environments.

  • Usage of systems that facilitate desktop and mobile device deployment and management. These initiatives include:

  • Operating system image deployment

  • Desktop software deployment

  • Asset tracking and inventory management

  • Office telephony

  • Mobile device management including tablets and smartphones

  • PC device management

  • Remote support tools

  • Interacting with all levels of company staff

  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • 7 10 + years of hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting Windows desktop operating systems, desktop applications, mobile devices, and network connectivity

  • Competency working with the following technologies

  • Desktop performance and connectivity troubleshooting

  • Office 365 and related applications (Office Suite, Outlook, One Drive, One Note, etc)

  • Active Directory

  • PC Device Management (Microsoft SCCM)

  • Mobile Device Management (AirWatch)

  • Hardware and software diagnosis and break-fix

  • Peripherals and network printer configuration

  • IP Phones (Cisco UC, Call Manager)

  • Cisco VPN user connectivity

  • WebEx Collaboration Suite

  • Typical Help Desk software suites and remote access tools

  • Strong experience supporting Windows 10

  • Strong customer service skills (3+ years of experience supporting executives)

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication

User Support team unassigned queue and assign tasks to team members, ensuring a balanced workload across the team. * Provides leadership and technical guidance to the other I.S. User Support team members on support functions. Maintains Support Assignment matrix and works with escalation teams to ensure accuracy. * Collaborates with other IS teams regarding changes to production that will impact the I.S. User Support team.
