Job Description:

This position is within Lockheed-Martin Space IT and provides dedicated IT support split evenly between the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) and the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) programs. Position required to maintain a complete lifecycle ownership approach for resolution of IT anomalies or questions related to the Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) applications and systems.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the creation of the new LRHW SharePoint instance. Define, setup, and maintain the layout/folder structure, data content/management, document labeling, architecture, and access control (LM, US Government, Contractors, etc.). Create an access guide for internal users and suppliers.

  • Enhance and maintain the CPS SharePoint instance.

  • Access Request Tool (eCSAR) POC.

  • Act as a Business Unit Sponsor (BUS). Interface with internal and external program staff to provide access to program data via collaboration tools.

  • Help with external account requests, yearly renewal questions, and access issues.

  • Create and maintain the various collaboration solutions.

  • Successfully respond to user requests for assistance via ServiceNow incidents.

  • Analyze user requests and incidents to determine level of complexity and the priority. Identify and implement resolutions.

  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Many issues are non-standard and require involved research and investigation work.

  • Work under general supervision only. Take general direction and make independent decisions to implement.

  • Collaborate on architecture upgrades and consolidations.

  • Create and present training material for new or custom capabilities.

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CPS and LRHW collaboration and general IT needs. Failure to provide high support and results may cause delays in program schedules and could result in allocation of additional resources

  • Frequent outside customer contact.

  • Represent the organization in providing solutions to moderately difficult technical issues associated with IT tools

  • Proactively identify and resolve program and functional area IT related issues, which ensure consistent and reliable IT tools and functionality

  • Successfully engage with continuous improvement activities for program

  • Assuming other Information Technology operational activities as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • SharePoint Administration, site creation, and workflow development experience

  • Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills and orientation

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate and work with executives and others having varying levels of technical skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS OS and Office suite of tools

  • Effective teaming and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated self-starter with proven ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.

  • Ability to pick up new skills quickly.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize user requests.
