Purpose of the role:

The IT Support Analyst is responsible for working with the employees of Ardelyx to ensure their Information Technology needs are met. He/she should help contribute as a member of the IT Service Desk team. This individual should be able to administer company cloud-based systems, IT equipment, and Zoom Conference room systems. Providing day-to-day operations support including IT Service Desk Call-Center as well as on-site support for our Fremont site. This individual will providing exceptional services and ensure highest satisfaction of the day-to-day needs of our employees.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for helping internal IT Service Desk - Call Center providing day-to-day support and services.

  • Tracking IT requests, follow up with End Users to ensure Helpdesk tickets generated via emails, IT Service Desk ticket system, or instant messaging application are complied with IT policies and SLAs.

  • Assist End Users with technical issues related to desktop, laptop, iPhone, iPad, network printer, scanner, Virtual phone, Zoom Video Conference, etc.…

  • Comfortably providing support and services to our executives including C levels.

  • Responsible for IT onboarding process including set up hardware and accounts creation.

  • Responsible for IT offboarding process ensuring accesses are disabled in timely manner.

  • Assist with new hire onboarding onsite office/cube IT equipment setup.

  • Administering Company global cloud-based systems including (AD, Okta, O365, Zoom, Box, Druva, etc.…)

  • Assist with onsite operation such as hardware inventory and refurbishment of returned equipment including laptop, iPhone, and iPad for redeployment.

  • Assist with creating IT Service Desk knowledge database including End User support "How to…" documents and run book.

  • Assist with any other tasks or projects as assigned by IT Manager.

  • Collaborate and assist Facilities team with operation tasks as need.

  • Willing to be on-call for off hours or during holidays occasionally as need.

Position Requirements:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field, and 1-2 years of experience in Information Technologies

  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, follow written procedures while always maintaining superior customer service with all users.

  • Show a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be highly motivated, a self-starter, and demonstrate a commitment to produce high-quality work.

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to constant change of the company going from R&D to Commercialization.

  • Knowledge of modern technologies in the Biotech industries a plus

  • Knowledge of regulatory environments such as GxP and GmP a plus

Location

  • Hybrid to either our Waltham, MA or Fremont, CA office

The anticipated annualized base pay range for this full-time position is $84,032 - $102, 705. Ardelyx utilizes industry data to ensure that our compensation is competitive and aligned with our industry peers. Actual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target and equity awards, subject to eligibility and other requirements.
