Work with government organizations to analyze IT assets and programs with the goal of improving the performance of core operations and mission support. Analyze an organization's mission from both top-down and bottom-up perspectives, by identifying core and enabling functions and capabilities. Perform qualitative and quantitative research and data gathering and identify key themes, trends, and opportunities from complex data sets. Capture, synthesize, and summarize key points from interviews, focus groups, and internal meetings, translating insights into draft deliverables and products. Develop creative and innovative solutions to client issues and project approaches. Lead the development of written plans to detail recommendations for transition or implementation of new technologies and brief results to senior-level military leadership. Conduct or contribute to IT analysis projects in all phases of planning, methodology design, analysis, recommendations, and oversight of execution plans.
5 years of experience in a professional work environment with at least 2 of those years of experience in a task management or leadership role
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Knowledge of DoD or DoN architecture, portfolio management, investment control, Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA), or Business Capability Life Cycle (BCL) policies and guidance
Ability to apply a variety of accepted analytical techniques to generate supporting data and solve technical problems
Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, ensure any conflicts are brought to the attention of the management team, and multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously
Experience with the following areas strongly preferred: Developing process models using BPMN or UML; Applying EA methodologies and frameworks, including FEA, TOGAF, DODAF, or Zachman; Employing MS Visio or other architecture modeling tools
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
BS degree in a technical field
Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM), Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA), or Networking or System Technology Certification
IAM Level I or II Certification, including Security+ CE or CISM preferred
