Sentara Healthcare is seeking an energetic detail oriented, customer focused analyst to join our ServiceNow team as a Service Now IT Analyst!

This position is 100% remote but candidates must have a current residence in one of the follow states or being willing to relocate: AL ,DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, LA, ME, MD, MN, NE, NH, ND, NV, OK, OH,PA, SC, NC, SD, TN, TX, WA, VA,WA, WV, WI

The ServiceNow Team is looking for an energetic, detail oriented, customer focused analyst to join our team and help us manage and support the enterprise ServiceNow IT Service Management system used for Incident Management, Change Management, Self Service Catalog, Demand/Intake Management, and IT Time Tracking. Responsibilities and experience include the following:

Operational Support:

Provide 1st and 2nd level end user support to resolve Incidents and answer questions

Provide ad-hoc one on one user training as required to support customer needs

Provide recurring quarterly training sessions on core processes areas

Develop custom reports for end-users that require assistance with report creation

Perform user account administration and governance, including group maintenance, user roles and process user license tracking

Create and update system documentation and support the update and creation of process documentation in key areas

Business Analysis/Application Management:

Consult with business unit to identify, analyze, refine and document business requirements

Become process expert for specific business areas

Translate requirements into technical specifications, develop test plans and scripts, assists in coordinating testing, and documenting test results

Perform system and application configuration through customization of tables, forms, workflows and business rules

Perform release deployment across environments

Education/Skills/Experience:

2 years of experience providing customer technical support

Experience creating user documentation and providing end user training

ServiceNow product experience preferred

ITIL knowledge and certification preferred

Experience with Incident, Change Management, and Service Catalog software products preferred

System administration, Application configuration, and report writing experience preferred.

Job Summary

Responsible for day-to-day support and optimization of software applications, including builds, upgrades, and system enhancements. Analyzes business / clinical needs, evaluate software releases and/or new products, and gives recommendations to optimize processes and decrease expenses.

Possesses in-depth business / clinical and application knowledge and experience. Performs and documents workflow assessments to determine functional requirements for optimal utilization of applications. Develops system test plans and performs testing of software upgrades and patches.

Maintains a record of test progress and test results. Responsible for problem, incident, and change management and service requests. Provides daily on-call support to the customer base for application-related issues.

Works within a cross-functional team and with end-users to achieve application integration to meet business / clinical needs. Responsible for the communication of software issues, requirements, upgrades, and enhancements. Oversees smaller-sized projects or components of projects.

Coordinates implementation or project planning around software application releases. Possesses a key certification(s) or other credential(s) which is determined central to the systems or applications supported.

An Experienced Professional applies practical knowledge of job areas typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include: • Works independently with general supervision. • Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

Experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

3 years of relevant experience with a degree

5+ years of relevant experience without a degree

Qualifications:

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree
