Job Summary:

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is looking for a top tier IT Specialist in our headquarters located in San Jose, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Provide technical support and setup for corporate-level meetings, executive meetings, and corporate events.

• Deliver comprehensive technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.

• Conduct training sessions for employees on new software, technology best practices, and IT policies.

• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

• Assist in the implementation and rollout of new technologies, system upgrades, and enhancements.

• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to optimize overall service delivery.

• Document technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred; backgrounds in MBA, Marketing, or Service are also welcome.

• Proven experience as an (Sr.) IT Specialist or in a similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, mobile communication devices, and conference room equipment.

• Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as common applications.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are advantageous.

Salary Range

$66,560 - $95,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
