IT SPECIALIST

Our technology team is made up of the people who keep our company running smoothly. We ensure that we have the right systems in place to manage our data, keep our security tight, and see that our employees have the right technology tools to do their jobs well and serve our clients.

The IT Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to internal users and is the first point of contact for help desk support. This role will be directly responsible for supporting the company's IT infrastructure and managing various support systems including G Suite, phone/fax lines, HRIS account setups, workstations and hardware.

  • Help Desk Support. Assists internal users to find resolutions to problems with hardware and systems that arise in a timely manner. Provides excellent customer service skills to walk users through problem solving processes, provide feedback, and sees through to resolution. Supports routine system maintenance. Tracks, routes, and redirects issues to correct resources. Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support. Owns help desk KPIs and metrics.
  • IT Infrastructure Support. Maintains documentation and inventory of IT equipment and software. Verifies integrity of system backups to ensure data is safe and secure in the event of system outages. Owns user access setup, removal, and configuration changes. Maintains hardware including printers, PC's and phone conferencing.

The base compensation for this position is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Customer service experience. Strong client facing and communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of help desk software, security permissions, and remote control.

  • Experience working with Desktop Applications - Gsuite or Office365 & Windows Operating Systems

  • Ability to explain technical concepts in easy-to-understand language.

  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

  • Prior help desk experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred.
