The Information Technology Specialist /Systems Administrator maintains Windows systems and provides daily administration and technical support, deploys computer equipment, and manages an IT infrastructure.

  • Monitor performance and system usage, backup systems

  • Research and implement software and hardware enhancements, diagnose and correct issues, define and implement new solutions

  • Administer, build, and maintain Windows servers, configuration management systems, workstations, and SAN storage devices

  • Maintain Hardware/Software inventories and provide an accurate account of the supported equipment.

  • Able to provide necessary assistance to the users, including some after-hours support

The ideal candidate possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, can effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and has initiative and sound judgment. Three or more years' experience as a Windows Systems Administrator as well as experience troubleshooting network infrastructure problems. This position requires strong independent problem solving, and self-direction.

  • Provide other job-related duties as required


  • Experience providing helpdesk and onsite support to internal and remote users

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and MAC

  • Working knowledge of deploying Windows updates with MS SCCM

  • Active Directory, Windows Server, and MS Exchange

  • Candidate should be familiar with building, configuring, troubleshooting and integrating new and existing servers to provide service enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades, to include SAN storage devices

  • Proficiency with most aspects of networking systems; new system installation / setup, fundamentals of security, performance monitoring, application and network troubleshooting, installations, and updates.

  • Working knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting ESX server environment

  • Strong time management skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Linux administration a plus

  • Office 365 administration a plus

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
