The applicant must have experience working in a dynamic environment providing information technology services and support; Ability to use analytical skills to resolve complex hardware and software issues.
Interpersonal skills are a must! The desired applicant will be motivated, focused, work independently, and have prior experience with Microsoft related products in a networked environment.
Identifying and delivering required hardware service levels according to company policies. Liaise with, and provide training and support to, end users and staff on equipment operation and other issues.
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, and other products. Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot associated end user software and networking software products; Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex hardware problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair as needed; Receive and respond to incoming calls, alerts, and/or e-mails regarding hardware and software problems. Document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal; Conduct research on, and make recommendations for, hardware products in support of procurement and development efforts.
If necessary, communicate with third-party support and equipment vendors; Recommend, schedule, and perform hardware and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs; Provide user support and training for use of computer software and hardware; Configure and install new computer systems and associated software. Troubleshoot and maintain existing computer systems.
Maintain working knowledge of networking protocols, mediums, and network systems integration; Maintain working knowledge of the following networking protocols: TCP/IP, UDP/IP; Maintain working knowledge of the following operating systems:
Windows Server, Windows 10, Linux. Office 365 experience, ITIL, and working with service desk ticketing applications is a plus.
Also maintain working knowledge of desktop software such as MS Office, Internet applications, firewalls, SharePoint, desktop spyware tools, anti-virus, remote desktop applications, terminal services and other enterprise desktop related software is a plus.
Support of network hardware such as switches, managed routers, IP telephony switches, and wireless networking; Apple and Android mobile device support also desirable.

CompTIA A+, Network +, Security+,
Microsoft Continuing Education Certificates (CCNA, MCSE, MCTS, etc.) are a plus
