Summary

This position serves as the Information Technology (IT) Specialist Enterprise Architecture (EA) for the Economic Adjustment Data System II (EADS II) in the Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA). EADS II is the system used to manage projects and grants and provides a secure environment to collaborate with external community clients. The incumbent is responsible for the development and implementation of technology strategy that is aligned with the OEA business strategy; management of l&T assets.
Responsibilities

Your typical work assignments may include the following:
This position is the EA Subject Matter Expert (SME) and reports directly to the Deputy Director, Compliance and Integration Program Division. The incumbent manages one or more major complex, multi-year IT initiatives of such a high visibility, scope, and depth initiatives can only be accomplished by means of multiple related IT projects.
Project planning and development: Develops, manages, and implements project plans (such as management plan, work breakdown structure, risk plan, budget plan and procurement plans). Develops detailed project plans, tasks, schedules, and identifies milestone dates to ensure proper sequencing of events, work efforts, and resources to successfully accomplish objectives.
Project execution: Develops and/or employs tools and methods to track progress throughout the life cycle of the project. Applies technical knowledge to ensure project schedules and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established milestones. Convenes regular in-progress reviews, and maintains productive interaction with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:

One year of experience at the same or similar work equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-12) requiring application of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position being filled. Candidates for this position must clearly demonstrate in their resume that they possess specialized experience: performing a variety of functions for a cloud-based enterprise federal grants, management agency, project management and administrative support information technology system; reviewing, analyzing and resolving difficult and complex systems architecture problems; coordinating program management activities ensuring compliance; AND possess experience with these four competencies: Attention to Detail - is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail; Customer Service
