Summary

About the Position: This position is located with the Program Executive Office, Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) located at Arlington, VA.

This position is being filled under the Expedited Hiring Authority (EHA) for Defense Acquisition Workforce Positions in accordance with 10 USC 1705(g).
Responsibilities

Lead sustainment activities for the Headquarters, Army Environmental System (HQAES) to include development, testing, solution analysis, tracking, and implementation of changes to the HQAES solution baseline.
Conduct extensive research and perform analytical studies in support of information systems processes, management and control actions to support sustainment functional area requirements.
Review requests for change, test proposals and evaluation plans to determine impact on and compatibility with the systems architecture and to ensure the plan is in accordance with current Department of Defense regulations.
Contribute to program acquisition documentation requirements to include System Engineering Plan, Information Support Plan, Supportability, Post Implementation, and Training Strategies.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Advising management on the development and integration of information technology within an enterprise business environment; 2) Leading development and
implementation of best practices for sustaining a business enterprise resource planning (ERP) system including software lifecycle development, testing, and configuration management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-II (GS-11).

This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level II in the Acquisition Career Field Information Technology within 24 months of entrance on duty.

Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
