Pay Transparency:

The pay range is $24.15 to $30.18 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).

What you will be doing

The IT Specialist at the Central Fulfillment Center is responsible for all computer hardware and software support. This specialist would be working directedly with both Vendor and Albertsons technical teams to assist with updates, upgrades, troubleshooting, testing, and resolving computer issues, to ensure efficient use of the production line. The IT Specialist will also act as an IT liaison for any computer-related tasks like facilitating new employees in access to the fulfillment software system or troubleshooting company laptop/desktops and printers at the site.

The position will be based in Ridgefield, WA

Main responsibilities

• Be the point-of-contact for Vendor and Albertsons Technical Teams for the installation, configuration, routine maintenance, and ongoing usability of desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, applications, and related technology used at the site within established guidelines

• Identify and research technical problems of varying complexity and follow through to resolution

• Ensure systems interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems, including servers and peripherals

• Maintain appropriate hardware\software inventories and warranties, as well as managing vendor maintenance visits for all managed technologies at the site

• Working with the Site leadership and Maintenance Specialist, manages equipment configurations for optimal efficiency

• Accurately log/document all issues and work efforts

• Assist with the creation and maintenance of technical documents

• Completes tasks related to end-user onboarding and offboarding

• Additional duties as assigned by management

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience

• 1 year experience in a technical support environment

• Experience working w MS Office, ServiceNow, basic IP networking and troubleshooting

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Willingness to occasionally travel to other Central Fill sites for training or collaboration

• Preferred: Associates degree in IT or equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work experience
