Purpose

Maintains and improves TCCP's information systems to support high-quality customer service.

Reports To: IT Manager

Essential Responsibilities and Functions

Customer Service

  • Build the Co-op brand through consistent representation of our service standards and culture.

  • Offer consistent and respectful customer service to team members, vendors, and customers.

  • Ensure timely response to internal customer questions and concerns.

Operations

  • Support smooth operations of all critical IT systems (Internal network, phone system, security system, office equipment) on a day-to-day basis.

  • Provide general technical support for TCCP systems and staff at all TCCP locations.

  • As requested by IT management, provide training on TCCP systems/equipment.

  • Develop, support, debug, and enhance customized applications for streamlining operations and administrative tasks.

  • Support and maintain IT infrastructure per department procedures.

  • Assist with designing, developing, and implementing IT systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.

  • Assist with the evaluation of equipment repair and replacement needs.

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of documentation for system configurations, hardware and software inventory, network, systems, and disaster recovery procedures.

  • Advise others in troubleshooting systems as problems arise.

  • Assist with the development and implement network security standards and provide training to end users.

  • Perform business analysis, software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis.

  • Take ownership of daily project needs and communicate with stakeholders.

  • Identify, adopt, and maintain support for recent technologies such as Generative AI

  • Work with partners to develop custom integrations.

  • Troubleshooting on incident / defect management

  • Create/implement tests and quality checks.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Science, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Three plus years of progressive demonstrated experience supporting computer networks and system configurations.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Knowledge of current computer hardware/software systems.

  • Experience and competence with the following:

  • Microsoft Business Technologies: Domain Services, Active Directory, and Group Policy Object management

  • Network administration including firewall configuration, VPN management, and on-going network design and maintenance.

  • Backup and recovery procedures and audits

  • Database administration

  • PCI compliance auditing and policy implementation

  • Server management and monitoring

  • MSSQL and T-SQL database administration, query writing and data polling

  • Retail POS systems, preferred.

  • System administration in Linux and mixed/transitional Linux+Windows environments, preferred.

  • Functional knowledge of reporting tools, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Crystal Reports, preferred.

  • Designing & debugging php/javascript code, preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to follow through on commitments in a timely manner.

  • Commitment to maintaining relevant knowledge in the industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with customers and coworkers from diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Ability to work with TCCP to create an inclusive environment where all are welcomed.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to use computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and various office equipment continuously.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to twenty pounds frequently.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds occasionally.

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs or ladder occasionally.

  • Ability to perform continuous fine work with hands.

  • Corrected vision to enable reading small print.

  • Ability to work outside of normal store hours as needed.

  • Ability to travel between all TCCP locations on a regular basis.

Working Conditions

  • Frequently performs work in a retail grocery store and distribution warehouse.

  • May require work in small spaces to access servers, wiring, and computer equipment.

  • May work occasionally in temperature extremes (walk-in freezer, coolers, warehouse).
