The Objective of this position is to provide design, implementation and management of defined IT solutions within HR Domain as well as the necessary integration support.

The individual would be responsible for the development and support of SAP HCM solutions, workday reporting/calculated fields as well as maintenance/integration/support of data and processes across Covestro's HR landscape and relevant downstream systems

Position works with the other groups in the global and regional Covestro organizations, as well as with Shared Services and Production Sites. Perform solution consulting as well as support the design of new solutions and concepts for the global HR solutions for the Covestro according to best practices to achieve highest efficiency and sustainability.

Major tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible to develop/implement/support HR solutions across SAP, Workday, Payroll and integrated landscape

  • Maintaining the system integrity according to the integration landscape of the HR system and by this providing consistent data and processes across different HR applications and for relevant downstream systems

  • Work with external solution providers/3rd party vendors to develop and implement specific aspects of the solution integration.

  • Responsible for designing integration specifications and development of programs, testing, release and incidence management


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration/management or a related field and at least five years of related experience OR a master's degree in information technology, business administration/management with at least three years of related experience

Essential Skills:

  • Good understanding of SAP HCM functionality and relevant business processes.

  • Experience with Workday strongly desired.

  • Excellent knowledge of HR processes, HR data models and Organizational responsibilities inside the global HR community

  • Previous experience in Cloud and/or DevOps environment would be preferred

  • Deep knowledge of Global HR-regulations and organizational Responsibilities

  • Ensure existence and compliance to operation guidelines

  • Project management skills

  • Intercultural experience

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated capabilities as a team player

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure

Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) to deliver highly effective customized Honeywell Voice software solutions in a timely and efficient manner. Candidates should be comfortable participating in multiple projects as either a SW Developer or SW Test Engineer while interfacing with internal and external customers in a high-energy environment. You will work within a global team environment handling several concurrent tasks, meeting scheduled milestones and take ownership of previously existing software solutions. Responsibilities: * Assist with both developing and testing Honeywell Voice solutions using a variety of structured and object-oriented tools, including Python, Java, SQL, and other graphical and report generation tools. * Document and communicate development issues and defects through proper tools and channels for mitigation and scheduling purposes. * Review design documents change requests and statements of work for completeness, accuracy, and feasibility, and to prepare test documentation and work effort estimates. * Develop test plans and review them as needed with other project members. * Perform functional, integration, and system level testing to simulate customer use of Honeywell's integrated voice solution.
