IT Solution Architect

Overview

The IT Solution Architect manages technology change across VNS Health organization-wide, to meet business objectives and maximize value of investments in data solutions.

Compensation:

$147,000.00 - $147,000.00 Annual

Key job duties include:

• Assess and analyze data solution alternatives and cost-performance trade-offs to simplify our applications landscape and reduce total cost of ownership for data solutions across the enterprise.

• Use broad knowledge of VNS Health information systems, including cloud-based resources, data warehouses, infrastructure domains, use of existing and emerging platforms, processes, and systems architecture to define technology problems, ensure that immediate and long-term business needs are met, and outline potential solutions, in collaboration with leaders of IT department and Business Intelligence & Analytics.

• Maintaining state-of-the-art professional knowledge of current IT trends and developments generally, healthcare data workflow systems trends specifically, and knowledge specific to VNS Health such as domain models, vendor roadmaps, and systems architecture blueprints, so as to educate technology teams and business unit stakeholders, and minimize technical debt.

• Present proposed solution designs for assigned projects to Architecture Review Board; contributes to technological innovation in the R&D pipeline via continuous collaboration with cross-functional teams, and with external vendors, to customize third-party solutions.

Reports to Associate Director, Data Architecture Services. This position is fully remote: may work from home anywhere in U.S.; onsite meetings at VNS Health required 2x/year. Annual salary is $147,000.

Qualifications

Education: Master's in Computer Science, MIS, Electronics Engineering or related field.

Experience: 2 years' experience in Data and Cloud engineering and solutions design, applying various architecture viewpoints including applications, infrastructure, data quality, integration and security.
