WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The Global IT Operations Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional end user experience and providing an optimal lifecycle of our endpoint technology. In this role, you will be a strategic leader in the IT Operations organization and have an excellent opportunity to influence all aspects of IT operations. You will be responsible for:
Creating, tracking, and resolving IT trouble tickets (Level I/II)
Windows Desktop support
Active Directory Level I/II support (Access Controls, Group Membership, Security)
Microsoft Exchange Level I/II support (add, manage, remove mail users)
Experience with Microsoft 365 support including Microsoft Teams calling
File & Print Server support/troubleshooting
Software repository management and deployment (Windows Deployment Services)
Hardware deployment of computers, printers etc
General workstation troubleshooting
Third party application support
Maintain a register of IT assets
Develop, maintain, and organize system administrator technical documentation
Manage site network cabling/patching
Participate in IT Projects
Deliver end user technical training where required
Provide absence cover for other site-based IT team members
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
An IT professional who possesses a strong understanding of end point hardware and application support by providing excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills. In addition, this role will require the ability to balance project work and day to day support in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
Undergraduate degree (MIS or Computer Science preferred) or equivalent business experience and minimum three years' experience in an Information Technology setting
A+ and/or Net+ certification preferred
ITIL/HDI certification preferred
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, work independently and achieve stated goals
Demonstrated initiative, self-reliance, and proactive behavior
Strong customer service focus and service orientation with business users at all levels
Thorough follow-up and escalation as required on all business issues is essential
Strong analytical, and communication skills (written and oral)
Able to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure
Ability to learn new concepts, hardware, and technologies quickly
Ability to work effectively in a changing environment and manage multiple activities
Strong organizational skills to structure and manage tasks from initiation to completion
Ability to work flexible schedules including availability outside of normal working hours
